….but you do not have to keep rattling on about it. We all know my personal stance on Twitter. I have not had the pleasure of introducing new posts the past few days because the only news I can scrounge up is about Twitter, FriendFeed (mostly just comparisons to Twitter), and Doctor Who. The rest of the folks around here cannot stand the service either, so why doesn’t everyone make a decision and hush up about it.
Geez, want some real news people. Now you guys have made me write about the bloody service again.
***Totally awesome first part to the Series Four finale and even though I can sort of tell what is probably going to happen, I cannot stop scrounging the net for more spoilers Saturday night the local airdate for the last episodes feels so far away.
But seriously, slim down on the Twitter chatter….I still have a laser screwdriver laying around here and I am not afraid to use it.
You may have had the Top Friends application on your Facebook yesterday, but not today.
Apparently Slide, the creators of the Top Friends application have committed a coding faux pas. There seems to have been a loophole in the application that allowed users to work their way around the TOS. The application made it possible for users to view profiles of non-friends that had been restricted to friends only.
Facebook has suspended the application and the Top Friends clones are gaining more users by the minute.

Been meaning to drop a post about Zemanta for a little while now since we use this service for almost all of the posts here at The SDA. When the site first opened up the biggest challenge was finding the best way to not have to tag the entries myself. Various auto-tagger plugins just were not very efficient or required me to join to get an API for yet another service that was not worth squat. In strolls the lovely dear Zemanta a little while back and I am hooked. Not only does it make automatic suggestions of tags that are actually relevant, it also suggests links and related photos/articles for the occasion as well. While the photo gallery requires at least the 300 character minimum for auto suggestion to be anywhere near accurate, there is an option to tell Zemanta to suggest the links and tags with far less information without sacrificing quality.
