Ok, we all know how much I despise Twitter. And if you do not know, that is very surprising. Me and James have growled about it many times.
Today, I noticed that we were picking up a little bit of traffic from FriendFeed. While I do not hate FriendFeed as much, it is along the same vein. I decided since some of the people that check us out hang out on FriendFeed, that I would chill out about it and check the place out. It’s one of those situations where you really hate doing something, but you basically have to. For me signing up for FriendFeed was like going to the dentist, good for me but grueling.
Since Friendfeed streams all your business including Twitter, I went ahead and tried to log back into the account. Turns out I had forgotten the password, and reconnecting to Twitter was just like going to the gas station. I can’t stand going to the gas station, never could even when gas was cheap.
Rant aside, these two services are pretty essential to what we talk about, even if we are extremely reluctant to use them. I likely will not update very often out of spite, but I will be changing up the sidebars and maybe ditching the job ads for some more SDA related stuff (including the social feeds). I might actually check out Identi.ca and revisit Plurk voluntarily.
