As I have stated before many times, I have having to drag my laptop all the way out to find out if there is WiFi nearby and I never could bring myself to purchase the little finders because they would just get lost in the sea of gadgets on my desk. A great solution comes in the form of “A Step in The Right Direction“, they light up solid when there is signal, blink when you are out of luck. Not the most aesthetically pleasing shoes, but they are harder to lose than the other WiFi finders unless you have acres of shoes.

I do not know anyone that uses the express drives on their laptop unless they tinker too much and blow their internal wireless cards. Those drives just hang out and do nothing.
