You may have had the Top Friends application on your Facebook yesterday, but not today.
Apparently Slide, the creators of the Top Friends application have committed a coding faux pas. There seems to have been a loophole in the application that allowed users to work their way around the TOS. The application made it possible for users to view profiles of non-friends that had been restricted to friends only.
Facebook has suspended the application and the Top Friends clones are gaining more users by the minute.
According to the wonderful world of tech, Share This has added a handy dandy new feature to their widget. Next to the Digg option on the list, there is now a Digg count. There is a screenshot on the above link, because I’m too lazy to make my own and no one seems to care enough to Digg the stories here anyway. Soon they may add count functionality to other things…Carry on Share This.

Firefox #3. Official Release Day. Download it and install it if you want. If you do not want to install it but want to help the Mozilla folks try to break a world record, download it and delete it later. Or you could just ignore it entirely. Whatever floats your boat. If you really want it, cross your fingers that the site is working.
Download Squad has a couple of links to help out too.

Yes Please! I’d like some Raw Milk The James said with glee!
Over the years, milk has been pasteurized for your health. Milk does have a lot of pathogens that can cause harm, but is it more dangerous to drink raw milk than it is to go walking through the Falls of the Ohio? In my opinion no.
If the cow is well taken care of, in a safe environment etc.. Then the risk of diseases is minimal compared to working in a place where someone can come in with bronchitis, meningitis, the common cold and the Plague. Hell, just living is dangerous, so why can’t I partake in something I would like to drink?
Seriously, look at this, Orange Juice is pasteurized to kill harmful things, but yet we consume raw oranges. We eat hot dogs and sausages that are made from this that and the other thing, but we’re concerned about a possible pathogen in raw milk? Milk that had been consumed for thousands of years without the whole worlds population dying off?

Hiya, I’m The James, and I have some glorious news for those of you watching today.
You are so not going to believe this.
I mean really, you aren’t going to believe this, but Facebook now has their entire site completely available in Japanese! Screen cap below:
This is a great advancement for those of us who want to enjoy their facebooking while also increasing their understanding of the Japanese language. Come on, I know there’s at least 5 of you out there.
On the other hand, anyone who really truly wishes to test their skills and work their vocab skills already has an account with Mixi.jp
ciao!
So I know you saw at least one of the cell phone popcorn videos.
I hated the videos not only because the premise was silly, but also because in half the videos, the cell phones did not even light up. 99% of the phones I see ringing, the backlight kicks on when it rings—that was annoying the daylights out of me.

If you use PayPal but the site you want to buy from does not, use this browser plugin (ie7 and FF2 in Windows).
Lets you pay with your preferred method by generating card numbers to satisfy the website. I dig it, but alas I must wait until its compatible with FF3 because I am too lazy to use something else. Paypal had introduced the method of using them anyway awhile back. Now it comes in the convenient form of a plugin.
