Aeon Co. has dropped off this lovely robot babysitter in a Japanese mall. Now robots do look cool, but it bothers me that this robot has a camera and projector for eyes which read a special badge given to the child and project ads. The company states the babysitter is designed so that the kids can get used to seeing robots because they will be more commonplace as they get older.
Being terrified of robot overlords taking over and destroying us…I hope that is not true.
