The folks at TechCrunch have a bit of intel about a Facebook messenger popping up soon. This is not too much of a surprise since AOL dropped quite a few mil down to snatch up Bebo as part of their “AIM + Social Networking” strategy. I figured there would have been one around sooner since the big to-do about Myspace IM when it came out. O well…If I still frequented Facebook I would be chompin at the bit to try it out, but if it cannot be integrated into my Digsby or Netvibes, then I’ll pass for the moment.

( It’d be nice if those guys would sponsor this blog since I plug them anyway from adoration of their products. Hopefully that shameless plea will not fall on deaf ears. With only a handful of readers, I am entirely too optimistic. )
