For regular status updates I use identi.ca fine. I've found FriendFeed to be awesome for two things. #1. Traffic . #2. Networking . I have been able to meet and talk to some of the coolest people that share my interests. It's a cliff with a nice, cushy landing believe me. :) I use Twitter for mobile updates but, that’s about it.
