Well thanks to some Google alumni, there is a new search engine on the block named Cuil. If you did not catch the likely obscure reference to a BabyFace song in the title, the name is pronounced “cool”. The engine just launched a few hours ago and it was already broken by the time I searched for a third topic.

These guys, an ex-Google employee and her husband, claim that they have indexed more pages and own the web. I disagree solely due to the fact that there are no results when I search for “Simian Downtime Analyst”. I am not saying by any means that this place is well known, but even Live knows we exist.
They still have alot of work to do, and they recovered from the aforementioned crash pretty quickly, so we hope they have a fighting chance against the big guys. We also hope they find us.

Update: I feel better now, they found us. I guess the server was wonky from overload. I also ran across a YouTube video that drops a reason why it was acting weird.
